Have you filed your Colorado state taxes yet?

If you are receiving a refund, tax time is an excellent opportunity to bless others with unexpected funds. Would you consider giving a donation from your state income tax refund to Providence Network? The Donate to a Colorado Nonprofit (ReFUND CO) program makes it simple to do.

By choosing to donate a portion of your state income tax refund to Providence Network through the ReFUND CO program, you can make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Colorado. Your donation will help provide shelter, food, and support services to those in need, giving them a chance to rebuild their lives and move towards a brighter future.

How to donate your state tax return:

You can donate to Providence Network on your Colorado income tax return by entering our ID on the Voluntary Contributions Schedule (DR 0104CH) of your Colorado Individual Income Tax Return.

  1. File your state income tax return and determine if you are due a refund.
  2. Look for the “Donate to a Colorado Nonprofit” line on your tax return form or tax software.
  3. Enter “Providence Network” and provide our registration number: 20093014561.
  4. Decide how much of your state income tax refund to donate (all or a portion of it).

The ReFUND CO program offers several benefits, including:

  • Convenience: You can donate to Providence Network with a simple designation on your state income tax return.
  • Flexibility: You can choose to donate all or a portion of your state income tax refund.
  • Impact: Your contribution will go directly to supporting our programs and services, making a difference in the lives of those we serve.

We are truly grateful for your support of Providence Network. Donations using this program are anonymous but if you need or want a written acknowledgement, please call us at 303-551-9319 or email development@providencenetwork.org to let us know.
