Kacey Pickard, President
As Deputy District Attorney for Colorado’s 18th Judicial District, Kacey’s legal work often focuses on the populations we serve. Her perspective and insights are extremely valuable as we strive to maintain a program that is relevant and effective for our residents.
David Milholm, Treasurer
Dave has served in leadership roles on several faith-based boards and in mentoring and tutoring capacities with at-risk youth. He is a CPA with 30 years of corporate financial management experience, primarily in oil & gas and biomedical sciences.
Andy Cannon, Ex Officio Member
As Co-Founder of Providence Network, Pastor Andy has over 35 years of experience in inner-city ministry, including successfully establishing transitional housing programs. He is a visionary leader with incredible compassion for serving others.
Andrew Chapin
Andrew is a Senior Housing Developer with Maiker Housing Partners. Along with his experience in campus ministry, he offers a rich understanding of how to leverage housing for the sake of people’s restoration.
Jim Crawford
Jim has been on several nonprofit boards, including two youth ministries where he also served as treasurer. He is a retired independent landman with over 40 years experience in both oil and gas, and mining. Jim is a fifth generation Coloradan.
F. Kevin Kurtz
As Founder and President of Newcastle Properties, Kevin provides expertise in commercial real estate and property development/management that has been crucial to the growth of our transitional and affordable housing programs.
Derek Kuykendall, Ex Officio Member
Derek is the Executive Director of Providence Network and brings over 25 years of human service, social justice ministry and transformational housing leadership to this role. He holds a master’s degree in Social Work and is a native of Colorado.
Jerry Middel
As a longtime member and past President of the Board, Jerry has contributed in many ways to the success of Providence Network through his background in financial planning and relationships in the philanthropic community.
Chad Scherer
Chad is the Independent Trustee of Scherer Trustees. He holds an active CPA license in the state of Colorado and provides meaningful support to the accounting and finance functions of the organization.
Sonja Kelly
With two decades of experience in poverty alleviation globally, Sonja joined the board to be able to translate her experience into addressing the challenges facing her own neighborhood of Congress Park in Denver. Sonja takes great pride in applying strong evidence to strategic decision-making, and has a PhD from American University in Washington, DC. Sonja also serves on the board of her church.
