Colorado’s newly released State of Homelessness Report confirms something we see every day: the need for safe, stable housing is growing rapidly across our state.
53,776 individuals experienced homelessness here in Colorado in 2025. Families are facing rising rent, economic pressure, and housing instability at unprecedented levels. More mothers, children, and vulnerable individuals are finding themselves one crisis away from losing everything.
But the report also highlights an important truth: housing solutions work, especially when paired with long-term support and care.
At Providence Network, we believe people need more than temporary shelter or a roof over their heads. They need a safe place to heal, rebuild, and begin again.

The State of Homelessness Report found that programs combining housing with ongoing support achieve some of the strongest long-term outcomes across Colorado. Stable housing dramatically increases the likelihood that families can remain together, pursue employment, improve mental health, and rebuild their futures.
We see this firsthand.
When a mother at Joy House no longer has to worry about where her children will sleep, she can begin focusing on healing and rebuilding stability for her family.
When young men at Silver Lining House experience consistency, accountability, and a safe community environment, confidence and hope for the future begin to grow.
When residents at Providence House are surrounded by encouragement, structure, and long-term recovery support, cycles of addiction, homelessness, and instability can finally begin to break.
This is why we exist. Not simply to provide temporary relief, but to create spaces where restoration can truly take root.
The statewide data makes clear that homelessness is not solved by short-term fixes alone. Sustainable change happens when safe housing and compassionate support work together.
