Lydia’s story gives us hope for our own stories and for those struggling with addiction. She started drinking at age 12 and was smoking cocaine up till five years ago. Then, she came to Providence House. She got help and began to change from the inside out. You can watch her story below. Lydia recently wrote:

I was an alcoholic, and in my drug addiction for 30+ years along with many other issues. When I came into the program, I was self-centered, insecure, and fearful of the change that was about to happen or not happen. I learned a lot about myself and others knowing that we all have something in common and that we all have issues whether it has something to do with our upbringing and/or our own bad choices, there is HOPE! Providence Network is truly a gift from God and without the love and support of the many staff members and residents, my transformation could not have been possible.

While our city spends over an estimated $42,000 annually per person experiencing homelessness, Providence Network needs around $10,500 for services meant for lasting change.

Would you consider partnering with us financially for Colorado Gives Day to make more stories like Lydia’s possible? Lydia’s story is full of hope and we want to spread that hope to others!
