Bill Downer is a shining example of the power of healing. Bill’s life was one of struggle, addiction, and frustration. But on what he likes to call “10-10-10” (October 10th, 2010), Bill began to turn his life around.
Bill came to Providence Network as a resident but now serves on staff—filling roles such as Assistant Director, Director, Interim Director, and everything in-between.
This heart for service is one of the things that drives Bill. “I have seen God work in and through many staff members, which has deepened my faith and helped me to be a better servant.” He gets excited by helping people succeed in their own recovery journey.
Being an example of someone who is staying healthy and dependent on God brings Bill joy. In his free time, Bill is rejuvenated by a round of golf. If you’d like to take Bill golfing, please reach out! He’d love to join you.
This summer we are trying to raise $100,000 by August 31st, 2025 to benefit Providence House. Providence House is a Christian transformational home in Denver helping our most vulnerable neighbors—well worth every dollar given!
