Would you, your business, social group, church, or organization be interested in hosting a golf tournament fundraiser in Denver to benefit Providence Network? If “yes” or even “maybe” we would love to chat with you and explore the possibility.

Why host a golf tournament fundraiser?

Providence Network is doing good work in the city of Denver to help our neighbors coming out of substance abuse, addiction, homelessness, and even domestic violence. Partnering with us provides an opportunity for your team to walk alongside us, creating a shared sense of effort, teamwork, and problem solving.

It may also provide a chance to deepen your relationship with vendors and business partnerships through corporate sponsorships and networking.

How would we sponsor Providence Network?

Your team could adopt our overall mission at Providence Network, which would support all six of our properties, both transitional housing and affordable housing. Or you could choose one of our homes to sponsor. Here are our three transitional programs:

Providence House, founded in 1988 in Capitol Hill, helps 10 men and 8 women recovering from addiction and homelessness.

Joy House, established in 2000, serves up to 11 moms and 17 children and youth recovering from domestic violence and addiction.

Silver Lining House, founded in 2018 in the Baker Neighborhood, houses 13 young men recovering from addiction and homelessness.

Have you done this before?

Yes! In recent years, WEITZ construction, Lime Painting, and Meritage Homes have all leveraged their golf tournaments to benefit Providence Network. Enjoy Lime’s 2023 tournament video at the City Park Golf Course in Denver. As you can see, we had a great time and contributed to a great cause.

What are some fun golf fundraiser ideas?

At the golf tournament we have participated in, we have seen a number of great ideas, from auctions of donated goods, playing against a golf professional at the 17th hole, to a literal golf ball cannon! You can find creative lists of other golf fundraiser ideas online.

What might it look like to partner with Providence Network?

We love being the beneficiary of golf tournaments! But we are not in the business of hosting or managing them ourselves. We are happy to work with you, may contribute in the planning and advertising through our channels, and can provide stories, staff, and informational materials on the big day. We are highly relational, and see it as an opportunity to build a relationship with you.
